Stand In Your Truth

The next ingredient in the “Living Your Dream” Life recipe is Integrity.  Living life standing in your truth personally and professionally is a key ingredient in manifesting your dreams.  You see, truth leads to trust and when actions are aligned with values, you’re free to move forward to a richer, more rewarding life.  If you’ve set an intention, made a commitment to yourself and your goal, then it goes hand in hand that you must stand in your truth and walk the talk.

So, where do you begin?  Here are a couple of suggestions to get you started:

Look across all aspects of your life (personal, professional, financial, relationship, health, etc) and write down what’s incomplete in that area.  Then ask yourself what you need to do to complete it and write that down.  Last step is to go and do it!  Start small and build your success muscles as you check things off the list completed. Note that some incompletions are huge or emotionally charged and may benefit from chunking down into smaller, manageable pieces.  Remember DON’T create new incompletions in the process!

Clear the Clutter

Pick a room in your home that needs some attention and clear the clutter.  Don’t have time for a whole room?  Choose a desk, a bookshelf, a closet.  We’ve all got a junk drawer somewhere in the house!  Clearing the clutter makes energetic room for more of what you want to come in to your life.  Set out 3 boxes/bags – Trash, Donation, Keep- and sort as you go.  You can add a Sell box, too, but only if you’re really going to sell the stuff.  Don’t let it set up shop somewhere else in the house!

Now it’s time to look internally.  Are you true to yourself? Do you honor your word to yourself as much as you honor your word to others? Do you do what you say you’re going to do?  If you’re squirming in your seat right now, that’s understandable.  Don’t worry and don’t judge yourself.  Just assess where you are and set an intention to stand in your truth from this point forward.

Say what you mean, mean what you say. Honor your word, your agreements, your commitments to others and to yourself.  You deserve it!
