Benefits of Meditation

I’ve listened to meditation podcasts from The Chopra Center, recorded by Davidji and thoroughly enjoy hearing his calm, warm voice enveloping every cell in my body.  Admittedly, I’m new to meditation and challenged with quieting my mind for more than 2 minutes, but even so, I have received a few blessings through the process.  I’ve learned to slow down, quiet the running dialogue in my head and tap into my true inner voice.

The Chopra Center offers a free 21 Day Meditation Challenge to get you started.  One is currently underway, but it appears to be a quarterly event.  For a nominal fee, you can purchase previous meditations from last year.  Check out the website for wonderful resources on creating a balanced mind, body and spirit.
