Today as I was celebrating Easter with my family I was struck by the fact that May 1st is right around the corner. We’re four months, or one-third into the year, and only last week did I finish writing out my goals for 2011. Not that I hadn’t been working on them, but I like to have them written in a particular format, and I’ve too busy to do it. No, really, I just made other things a priority. I have been working on them, though!
My Life Map looks across several areas that I wish to keep a focus on to have a balanced life: Work, Business Development, Financial, Relationships, Spirituality, Personal Growth, House & Garden, Health & Fitness and Fun/Other. Once completing the update I realized I’ve been ‘thinking’ I’d been working on Health & Fitness, but truthfully I hadn’t accomplished much of anything. So, back to the drawing board I go.
Have you lost sight of your goals? Did you start the year off with good intentions only to slip and fall off the wagon? Well, it happens. So what? Get over it and get back on track!
